Our PhD canidates

Our PhD students come from universities all around the world and represent many different nationalities. As of July 2026, about 70% of our students are international students from 19 different countries.

So far, around 83 students have graduated from our school and earned their doctoral degrees at the University of Cologne. After graduation, our CGA graduates typically go on to academic or industrial research positions at leading universities and research laboratories worldwide.
