Workshop: Working with R (Beginners Level)

Time: 9 am - 5 pm (all days)
Course content: Basic programming in R, Data Entry and Data Management, Creating Graphics (base graphics), Descriptive Statistics: Frequency-/Crosstables, Mean, Standard deviation, Correlation, Inferential Statistics: Fisher’s exact test, McNemar test, T-test (one sample, two sample), Multiple linear regression, ANOVA, Example: Gene Expression Data, PCA and hierarchical clustering, Dendograms
Target group: PhDs, Master fellows and Postdocs that have no prior knowledge of R
Venue: if possible, in person event at the Cologne Ageing Campus
